Atletico Madric do not prove anything other than every rule has its exceptions.

In 99% of cases the league positions and relevant success will be determined by the amount of money spent along with the squad value.

In this respect I would place west ham in the middle to bottom half of the table, as although we have spent a bit of money, our squad value is still comparitively low.
